We show you how to make your own homemade vegan ground beef or vegan taco meat for tacos, burgers, or sloppy joe! It is an easy diy vegan meat recipe. We reveal the secret to making vegan beef at home. You'll learn how to cook with tvp (textured vegetable protein) and make vegan tacos from scratch. This is what we ate today on our first family vacation to sunny Destin, Florida.

Pacific Vegetable Broth
Liquid Smoke
365 Organic Ketchup
Sprouts Taco seasoning
Sprouts Chilli powder

Onions | Tomatoes | Avocado | Lettuce
365 Organic Cantina Salsa


1) Put 2 1/4 cups of vegetable broth to boil along with 2 tablespoons of liquid smoke, 2 oz of ketchup, and all of your favorite seasonings.
2) Once the sauce is boiling, pour over 2 cups of TVP.
3) Mix the sauce into the TVP until it all of the TVP is coated in the sauce.
4) Cover and let sit for at least 1/2 an hour. This will re-hydrate the TVP.
5) Once it's ready, lightly cook in your preferred oil in a skillet with onions and additional taco seasonings until it has the consistency of ground beef.
6) Serve immediately in taco shells/tortillas/nachos with your favorite toppings.


For sloppy joe: Follow the instructions to make the sauce above. Add a tablespoon of agave and let the whole mixture boil down to a thick bbq sauce consistency. Keep tasting until it reaches your preferred flavor. Carmelize onions in the mix then add the TVP and cook as you would with regular ground beef.

For burgers: Once the mixture has sit for 1/2 hour, slowly add 1/2 cup of flour to mix. Form into burger patties, separating each with parchment or wax paper. Freeze for at least 4 hours, then cook for 4 minutes on each side. Serve immediately on a bun with your favorite toppings.

For spaghetti and meat sauce: Follow original recipe, but season with your fave Italian seasonings. Cook in your preferred oil, then add your fave sauce and bring to a boil.
