Robert Pattinson says there was definitely no bestiality on the set of his new movie Good Time. Just so we’re all clear.

The actor told a story suggesting otherwise on Jimmy Kimmel Live Thursday, and it’s gotten a lot of attention.

Pretty much, he said that while filming Good Time there was a scene in which he was “basically giving the dog a hand job.” They ended up filming the scene using a prosthetic, but initially Pattinson was told to massage the dog’s inner thigh, he said.

Everyone involved in Good Time are amazing professionals and have come together to make a movie that Im extremely proud of. I feel embarrassed that in the moment, I was trying to make Jimmy laugh, only to create confusion and a false impression.

So everything was a joke, and Pattinson, who was hailed as a hero by PETA for standing up to animal abusers, might not be their ideal spokesman anymore. Then again….
